Good Morning! How has your week been going?
I’m slowly getting used to being home, but it still feels a little weird.
Anyways, today is Wednesday which means it’s time for another What I Ate Wednesday! You can see all my previous ones here if you’re interested. You can learn more about this link up over at Jenn’s blog! This week, I thought I would share what I ate last Thursday during my trip back to Canada!
What I Ate
Before leaving for the airport, I opened my second last advent present. Inside, I had a Kinder Surprise that I shared with Matthias. Yes, the first thing I ate was chocolate at 6:30 in the morning. So what?I had planned on having banana oats in an almost empty peanut butter jar for breakfast, but I just wasn’t hungry before going through security. I ended up ditching them because I thought they would be taken away anyways. Once in Amsterdam, I snacked on some Shreddies while waiting for my next flight.
On the plane to New York, they gave us quite a bit of food. For lunch, I chose the meat balls. To be honest, I only ended up eating the roll. I tried a bite of everything and even ate most of the meat balls and potatoes, but nothing really tasted that great. Later on, they passed out vanilla ice cream! I was very surprised to get this, but it was so tasty!About an hour before we landed in New York, they gave us the option of having a cinnamon roll or a chicken pastry. I chose the cinnamon roll and it was just ok. Once I was through security in New York, I got my very first Jamba Juice! I really wanted something cold and fruity so I went with the Mango Madness smoothie. It was really good!A little while later, I went and got a cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese. The bagel was really dry, but I knew I should probably eat something. And those were my eats from last Thursday. As you can see, I don’t have the biggest appetite when I travel. I think it’s because I get nervous going on planes.
I hope you have a great Wednesday!
Have you had anything really gross on a plane before?
Does your appetite change when you travel?
