Good Morning! I can’t believe it’s already Friday! This week seemed to fly by! How has your week been? Any fun plans for the weekend?
Once this post is published, Matthias and I are off to do some shopping. He needs to get some clothes for work so I thought I may as well look too. I probably won’t end up getting anything, but I am wanting a new pair of boots. After we get that shopping done, we’ll be off to get our groceries for the week!
In true Friday fashion I’ll be sharing some of my favourites from this past week. I’ll be linking up with Heather and Katie so if you want to creep at other people’s favourites, you can head their way! This week’s favourites are a little bit different in that they are all food related. Let’s get to it!
Friday Favourites #31: Week of 11/13
Yogurt Parfaits: I made a really delicious yogurt bowl earlier this week. It was plain greek yogurt with chocolate caramel protein, banana, chia seeds, and granola. It was so good and I have been dreaming of making another one! Chocolate in the morning is a great start to the day!Marble Cake: almost everyday Matthias’ mom has a piece of cake or a muffin for me in the afternoon. Earlier this week the cake was marble and it was so good! I had some raspberries with it too!Sweet Potato Coins: sweet potato is good no matter what way it’s made, but I love eating them as coins! They bake pretty quickly and are soft, yet kind of crunchy at the same time. Treats from Mom: I finally received a package from my mom yesterday! I had been waiting a little over two weeks for it. Matthias and I want to make peanut butter balls, but there’s no Rice Krispies in Germany so my mom sent me some as well as a couple treats. She also sent Shreddies and her chocolate fudge! Two of my favourite things! Whenever I go to see my mom, the first thing I do is pour a bowl of Shreddies to snack on. Her chocolate fudge is so rich and delicious so I was pretty happy to see that too!
And now, here are a few links to recipes that I’m dying to try:
Salted Caramel Apple Snickers Cake: how great does this look! My mouth is watering just looking at it!Slow Cooker Cinnamon Rolls: cinnamon rolls are one of my favourite treats. When I saw this recipe for ones you can make in a slow cooker I was very excited!Hot Chocolate Infographic: is infographic the right word? Anyways, I saw this chart for 10 ways to spice up your hot chocolate. Thank you Lifehack for making my life better!Anyways, that is all from me today! I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!
What are your favourite yogurt toppings?
What are your favourite hot chocolate add-ins?
The nutella in the hot chocolate sounds like it needs to happen in my house this weekend!
Good luck! I can only imagine that it will be amazing!
I love sweet potato coins as well! Also, love that hot chocolate infographic! I’m a lover of peppermint hot chocolate, but nutella hot chocolate sounds absolutely ridiculous! (in the best way possible.)
Peppermint hot chocolate is one of my favourites too!
