Good Afternoon! How is your weekend going? Mine has been pretty fun and I’m looking forward to sharing more about it tomorrow. Since it’s Sunday, it’s time to show my dinners from this past week! I’m looking forward to showing you so let’s get into it!
Weekly Meal Plan: Week of 10/11-10/17
Sunday: Matthias and I were in Hamburg hanging out with my friend Anna and her boyfriend. We went to a steakhouse called Block House and we all got steak! I had mine with veggies (I should have stuck with the potato because the veggies were way too buttery and salty) and the best garlic bread! Monday: we made a chicken and vegetable stew type thing with coconut milk. I wasn’t the biggest fan of it, but Matthias really liked it!Tuesday: we had one of our staples on Tuesday night, pesto salmon with basmati rice and broccoli. Takes about a half hour and is so good!Wednesday: we made BBQ chicken nachos that we ate while watching the first Sherlock Holmes movie. These were really good and again very quick to make!Thursday: Matthias had a long day at work and we didn’t really have anything left to make so we had breakfast for supper! I had my first “German breakfast” of bread with meat and butter or cream cheese. It was really good. Afterwards, I had a bowl of cereal with strawberries! Friday: we had one of my favourites on Friday, fricadellen with salad on the side. Fricadellen is ground beef mixed with bread, onion, and spices then cooked in the oven. They’re basically a mix between a meat ball and a burger patty. Saturday: yesterday we went into Hamburg and met up with two of Matthias’ friends. We went to a restaurant that wasn’t bad. I had a BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger with potato wedges. I forgot to take a picture, but it definitely hit the spot.
Those were our dinner from this past week! I hope you enjoy the rest of your Sunday and I’ll be back tomorrow to share what I got up to this weekend!
