Hi Folks! How’s your weekend going? I’m heading into town today to meet up with one of my friend’s! Before doing that, I just wanted to pop in with this week’s meal plan!
Weekly Meal Plan: Week of 10/4-10/10
Sunday: after the hockey game we were too tired to put any effort into supper so we just made sandwiches!
Monday: we made burrito bowls on Monday night! There’s rice, ground beef, lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, red pepper, cheese, salsa, and plain greek yogurt in mine! It was really yummy and quick so it will definitely be repeated! Maybe with chicken next time!Tuesday: I made homemade chicken nuggets and potato wedges for Matthias and I. The nuggets were just made by being dipped into egg then breadcrumbs before being baked in the oven. Another quick and simple meal!Wednesday: BBQ ribs with rice and broccoli. These ribs came pre-marinated in a package and were so tasty! I drizzled some of the leftover BBQ sauce on my rice and it was delicious! Thursday: supper was basically a fail since we didn’t have much food left and I had forgotten to take the chicken out of the freezer. Anyways, Matthias made pasta for himself and I made two grilled ham and cheese sandwiches. Definitely ended up snacking way more than I usually do that night, but the grilled cheeses were so worth it! I couldn’t remember the last time I had one before Thursday.Friday: a few weeks ago we had tried making lasagna for the first time by using a package. This night, we used my mom’s recipe and it was delicious! We forgot to add some spices to the mix, but it still turned out really good! I’m already wanting to try making it a little healthier for next time! We paired it with garlic bread because you can’t have lasagna without it!Saturday: we heated up leftover lasagna and made english muffin garlic bread since we didn’t have any left
That’s what we had for dinner this past week! Enjoy the rest of your weekend and I’ll see you tomorrow!
What’s something delicious that you made this week for supper?
Do you like to make recipes healthier? This is one thing I love to do! Whether it’s a main dish or a dessert, I like to make swaps to make it still taste good, but be a little more health conscious
