Hello! How is everyone doing today? I am so excited about this What I Ate Wednesday because I had so many good eats yesterday that I have been dying to share! Let’s get this party started!
What I Ate
Pre-workout: I made a slice of french toast using 100g of egg whites and cinnamon. I also topped it with a little Walden Farms Pancake Syrup. I have recently been loving how simple yet delicious this is! It’s super quick too, but if you had the time, you could top it with some fruit, nut butter, etc. I ate this about a half hour before my workout and it did a great job at fueling my ham/glute workout as well as a little run!Breaky: With my workout done for the day, I made another new favorite of mine which included an egg, 126g of egg white, avocado, and a Laughing Cow cheese wedge! This was actually my first time (finally) trying Laughing Cow and man oh man – it is awesome! I love how creamy it is. Snack: A little while later, I snacked on some wholegrain crackers with peanut butter. I picked these crackers up at my local grocery store since they were 50% and they are so delicious! They’re made with quinoa, spelt, millet, and kamut wheat flour. Lunch: I made a pizza using Flatout bread, turkey pepperoni, cheese, and Classico tomato and basil sauce. This is seriously going to be my new go to when I am craving pizza! So good and so not bad for you!Snacks: Fibre 1 chocolate brownie and Single Serving Pumpkin Donuts with Pumpkin Spice Cream Cheese Frosting. Those donuts I whipped up when I had a sweet craving that didn’t go away. I threw some stuff together and hoped for the best. They turned out really good for only having 20C/14P/4F. I have the recipe on my Instagram, but if I should share it here, let me know! Supper: I grilled up some chicken and paired it with corn on the cob. I cannot tell you the last time I ate corn straight off the cob; it was delicious. I did the corn in the microwave and the husk slid right off!Dessert: I made chocolate banana ice cream! I mixed avocado in for the first time and it made it so creamy! I topped it with melted peanut butter before finishing it off with a Skinny Cow Vanilla Ice Cream Sandwich and some Vanilla Cupcake Goldfish. It was a great end to an amazing day of eats! As you may of noticed, I had a lot of new treats during this WIAW. That is because I went grocery shopping on Monday night and bought some new to me things to try. I picked up some staples and also a couple things I hadn’t bought in awhile. I still haven’t tried the Mrs. Dash Sloppy Joe Seasoning or the Silk Creamy Cashew, but I have been wanting to for awhile.
